Scholarship Information
In alignment with the purpose of the Wyoming Society of Respiratory Care (WySRC) to encourage and develop, on a statewide basis, educational programs for those persons interested in the field of Respiratory Care, and to honor the work of one of our pioneering and respected colleagues, the Clark McInroy Financial Need Student Scholarship was established. The WySRC offers a scholarship to be awarded annually at the state meeting, to worthy student(s) currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. The amount will be based on the number of total applicants and the number of scholarships awarded.
Funding of the Scholarship
A dedicated account will be set aside for the Clark McInroy Financial Need Student Scholarship and the treasurer will have charge of all funds. The treasurer will see that accurate and full accounts are kept. The treasurer will report at the board meetings the amount in the account. Various fund-raising activities will be designated for the scholarship. The fund-raising activities can occur at the annual meeting and other times throughout the year. If a member donates funds and designates them to the scholarship account, then these funds will be reported with the account update at the following board meeting.
